Langford Village Primary School Reception September 2021

Unfortunately for this year we are unable to invite parents or prospective pupils onto our school site to meet with Mrs Maureen Thompson, Headteacher or have a tour of our school.

We would, instead, love you to visit the two virtual tours (please see links below) that we have created for you, so that you can gain a flavour of Langford Village School.  These virtual tours take you on a walk-through of our Early Years setting, and some of the learning experiences on offer, and includes the introduction Mrs Thompson would have had with you in person.  Finally, a quick tour across the rest of the school is also included.

If you have any additional questions that you would like to ask us, please get in contact either via phone or email office.2608@langford-village.oxon.sch.uk

We would like to thank you for showing an interest in our school and hope that you are successful in obtaining your first choice.  If you decide upon and are successful in your application for a place at Langford Village School, we look forward to welcoming you in September 2021.

We are a large primary school on the edge of Bicester, Oxfordshire. We are a two form entry school and usually have approximately 465 children (full and part-time) on roll, aged 3 to 11, in 16 classes. The school was built in 1996 and extended in 2000 to provide a dedicated teaching block for KS2 and further work was carried out in 2009 to create additional work space in KS2.

Our vision and aims are intrinsic elements of every aspect of our school – revealed through our approach to teaching and learning, practical activities and the additional opportunities we use to enhance this. Our aim is to value each pupil, develop the whole child and encourage them to have limitless aspirations.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and seeing some of the wonderful things we do.

Maureen Thompson

Head Teacher
