What is Cross Country/Athletics club?

Who can attend Cross Country/Athletics club?

Any children in years 3,4,5 and 6 can attend.

Where and when is Cross Country/Athletics club?

Athletics/Cross Country will be held on the school field on Thursday 1st May between 3.30 and 4.15pm and running until Thursday 10th July. Children will need to be collected from the school field at 4.15pm (unless your child is in year 6 and consent is given for them to walk home).

What do I need?

Pupils should come to school in their school PE kit and trainers on the day of the club and remember to bring a water bottle and a snack if they wish. Please note that this club will take place outside so your child will need to be prepared for all weather conditions. They may wish to bring an additional outer layer and a waterproof coat as well as sun cream that they can apply themselves and a hat for warmer weather. As the club will involve physical activities, children will need to tie long hair back and remove jewellery/watches, where appropriate.
