Birthday Books

We love sharing books at Langford, and when better to share a book than on your birthday?!

As we work towards achieving our Healthy Schools award, we have moved away from sharing cake or sweets for birthdays. However, we still want to celebrate your child’s special day and as we love sharing books at Langford, when better to share a book than on your birthday?!

There are many ways to share a 'Birthday Book':

  • Bringing in a book from home and sharing it with the class for a day
  • Bringing in a book from home and donating it to the class library
  • Buying a book that you like the look of when you're out shopping
  • Buying a book from the list below as we do not have these in class (This list is regularly updated).

We would like to stress that the book does not have to be new or in fact donated to the class! Sharing a book, even for one day, is just as enjoyable.
