On Friday 10th January 2020, Year 4 took part in ativities linked to our topic on Mounatins. We researched and then designed shelters that would be suitable for our 'base camp' taking into consideration the the need to be waterproof, the wind directon, protected entrances and most importanty, team work. 

The children worked in teams to use the equipment provided to create their own shelters. There were so many D&T skills being demontrated as well as probem solving and communication skills too. The children all worked hard and created shelters to be extremely proud of. Thank you for your support.
