Netball Club Information

What is Netball club?

Netball club offers both girls and boys the opportunity to learn and practise new skills based around the game of netball, with a view to playing some friendly matches against other local schools.

Who can attend Netball club?

Any children in years 5 and 6 can attend.

Where and when is Netball club?

Netball will be held on Fridays 3.30 - 4.45pm starting Friday 22nd September and running until Friday 15th December 2023. There will be no netball club on Friday 20th October 2023.Should the evenings become too dark we may pause the club earlier but will communicate this to parents. Children will need to be collected from the playground at 4.45pm (unless your child is in year 6 and consent is given for them to walk home).

What do I need?

Pupils should come to school in their school PE kit and trainers on the day of netball club and remember to bring a water bottle and a snack if they wish. Please note that this club will take place outside so your child will need to be prepared for all weather conditions. They may wish to bring an additional outer layer and a waterproof coat as well as sun cream that they can apply themselves and a hat for warmer weather. As the club will involve physical activities, children will need to tie long hair back and remove jewellery/watches, where appropriate. Please note that when attending netball events, earrings must be removed so we encourage children to do this for Netball Club as well.
