Performance Club Information

What is Performance Club?

Singing Stars is a group full of children who love to perform to others, so we are going to expand our repertoire for this term and undertake the exciting challenge of putting on a performance of The Wizard of Oz! We would like to invite new children in years 2 - 6 to join us.

This musical is specially designed for Primary aged children so there will be plenty of singing, dancing and acting for all of the children whether they are children who want to be on stage, as well as for those who would like to join in the singing still but be nowhere near a stage! Everyone will get the chance to tell us what they would like to do in the production, whether that be center stage, undertake a smaller role, or solely remain singing with the choir.  

We will ask for support in providing costumes for the children – details of this will follow when we know who will take on what part.  

Of course, this will culminate in a performance for parents near the end of Term 4. A date will be shared in due course when we have an idea of when the children will be ready to perform for you all. 

Who can attend Performance Club?

Any children in years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 can attend with priority going to children who attended Singing Stars Club in the Autumn Term.

Where and when is Performance Club?

Performance Club on a Monday after school, starting from Monday 20th January each week up until the performance at the end of term 4 (date to be confirmed). It will run from 3.15 - 4.30pm and children should be collected from the hall doors by the portakabin (unless your child is in year 6 and consent is given for them to walk home).

What do I need?

You do not require anything for this club.

How do I sign up?

Performance Club is currently full and a waiting list is in place. If your child would like a place in this club, please complete the below waiting list form and we will be in touch should a place become available for them.
