

What is recorder club?
Running a recorder club offers children a fun and engaging introduction to music, where they will learn the basics of reading music, playing melodies, and performing together as a group. The club will focus on developing their musical skills through practice, and simple ensemble pieces, helping to build confidence, coordination, and a love for music. Children are welcome to bring their own recorder, but the school can also provide one if needed. Alternatively, a new recorder can be ordered through the school—details on how to do this will be provided shortly.
Who can attend Recorder club?
Any children in years 5 & 6 can attend
When is Recorder club?
Recorder Club will be held on Tuesday lunchtimes from 23rd September until Tuesday 9th December. Places on this club are limited but we will run a waiting list.
What do I need?
You do not need to bring anything for this club unless you wish to Bring your own recorder, as they will be provided, there will be an opportunity to order through the school and will be communicated shortly.
