Times tables are considered one of the foundations of Maths and underpin many concepts and skills that come later in Education and life. However, this does not mean they are easy to learn and master. As a School, we are always looking at the ways in which we can assist the children in learning these through engaging, fun and effective systems.
At Langford, we have an exciting Maths resource that your child(ren) will be able to use from home – Times Table Rock Stars. This resource has been designed to help all children to practice ‘little and often’ through a very carefully sequenced program, all of which has been wrapped up in a fun and engaging Rock Star theme! All children from Year 1 – 6 have access to TTRockstars. Whilst there may be some children who will find this tricky, please understand that the program is designed to carefully focus children on times table questions that are most suited to their needs.
