A typical school day for Reception

The external school gates will be opened by a member of staff at 08:30 in the morning. The Reception classroom doors will be opened at 08:40 and staff will be waiting to greet your children at the door. Reception children will be released to parents in the same way at 15:15.

09:00 - Phonics

09:30 - Continuous learning

10:30 - Reading

10:50 - Carpet time

11:05 - Story/singing and getting ready for lunch

11:15 - Lunch

12:15 - Registration and Literacy/Maths

12:45 - Continuous learning

14:30 - Tidy up

14:40 - Carpet time

15:15 - Home time
